Do you wish you had more storage space in your home? Are you always thinking “where can I put this stuff so that I can access it better“ or are you more like me, who can’t seem to get rid of anything. I mean, it’s not in bad condition I’m going to use it one day!
Well, we met a customer who felt the same way! Boy can I use some more storage space around my space! And she found just the right spot.
In her hallway she used to have a furnace, but recently she bought a new all inclusive package AC unit that heats, cools and saves her some money! Since the new unit is a package unit, it does not need a furnace to heat the house. She realized that with some creativity she can build it out into a hallway closet.
So she called Response Crew Handyman! With the help of Angel and Jennifer we got a plan in place and a great idea for an affordable price!

Open up the wall
This one had us do a bit of everything! Demo a wall, drywall tape and texture, pre hung door and storage build out, shelving, flooring and paint.
Complete Closet Buildout
The whole transformation took 12 hours and was complete over a day and a half.
Hallway Closet
Do you have an old furnace in your hallway taking up valuable space? You might want to consider this project as your next must to-do project. So, don’t throw out that microwave, and I am sure you can wear those shoes one more time if we just had a bit more storage space!
